Welcome Tuomas Oksanen, Investment Director!
Grid.vc will strengthen its fundraising and start-up business development capabilities by recruiting Tuomas Oksanen as Investment Director starting on the 24th of May.
Tuomas’ experience in supporting new business ideas across different sectors at Aalto Start-up Center, as well as his previous fintech start-up development and fundraising experience from Fundu, will further improve Grid.vc capabilities in accelerating the commercialization of new technologies in the energy sector.

The biggest Finnish event for all networks will be organized again in Tampere on January 22-23, 2025. Start-ups will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations at a special Smart Network area and participate in an innovation challenge organized by Grid.vc. This is a great opportunity for start-up companies to meet all decision makers and users of technology in networks and present their case in person for thousands of experts in the field.

We are happy to announce our latest investment in CeLLife Technologies Oy, a Finnish deep-tech startup focusing on battery testing, analytics and recycling. CeLLife's innovative technology allows faster and more accurate testing of individual battery cells, thus enabling use of second-life batteries with greater confidence and cost-effectiveness.

Grid.vc has made its first ever investment in an Estonian start-up, Bioreactor Oü. Bioreactor develops cloud-controlled micro bioreactors for decentralized heat and power generation. The innovative biomass gasification combined with deep learning and digital twin technology enables cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for households while deriving extra revenues from the increasingly volatile wholesale power markets.

Grid.vc pääsee aloittamaan uuden vuoden uudesta tilanteesta. Vuoden 2022 aikana irtauduimme kahdesta sijoituskohteesta ja saimme yhden uuden sijoittajan.
